Remote temperature monitoring for New Zealand coolstores, coolrooms and cold rooms. View readings, receive email alerts and keep temperature history in one place.
OnSight gives you temperature history, automatic reporting and remote visibility without replacing your refrigeration controls.

From manual checks to remote readings
Franklin Foods used OnSight across four refrigerated containers. Probes inside and transmitters outside helped work around the containers’ metal construction, providing remote readings and alerts in place of manual temperature logs.
Assign known choices below. Any unassigned gateway remains unresolved in the estimate.
The included USB cable is not charged separately. Ethernet is not automatically PoE; no PoE equipment or backup power is included.
Optional WhatsApp alerts
The estimate is a guide, not an order or a reservation. Freight and any physical installation are additional. Final quantities and suitability need to be agreed before supply.
Setup support
Get help setting up your temperature monitoring
We’ll review your layout, configure your devices and alerts, and help check that readings are coming through. You arrange physical installation.
We’ll confirm the remote setup scope and any cost with you before you order.
Included with monitoring
Know what happened between checks
Each monitoring point includes a configurable five-minute default reading interval, one year of history, automatic reporting and email alerts. Optional WhatsApp messaging is available as a separate plan.
OnSight helps you plan sensor placement and remote setup. Metal walls can affect Bluetooth coverage, so check the final arrangement with doors closed and under representative conditions.

Monitoring and control are different jobs
Remote readings without changing your refrigeration controls
OnSight provides temperature readings, alerts, history and reports. It does not operate refrigeration plant. If your project needs automation, plant integration or equipment control, we can assess that separately; SCADA may suit that scope.
Will monitoring keep working if the internet drops?
A powered gateway may backfill retained readings after connectivity or service returns. Live alerts are not delivered during an outage, and local storage is finite. If the gateway loses power, it cannot collect readings.
How many gateways and sensors will my site need?
It depends on the layout, equipment and sensor placement. Metal walls can affect Bluetooth coverage. Your estimate is a starting point; arrange an onsite coverage check with doors closed and under representative conditions before relying on the final arrangement.
Can I choose a temperature probe?
The calculator shows the available MST01 BLE sensor and probe choices. They are the same price. Keep metal probes straight and ask us to confirm suitability before ordering if you are unsure.
Does this replace refrigeration controls or SCADA?
No. OnSight provides readings, alerts, history and reports. It does not control refrigeration equipment. If you need automation, plant integration or control, that scope needs a separate assessment; SCADA may be appropriate.
Is monitoring staffed around the clock?
No. Email alerts are included, but OnSight is not a 24/7 staffed monitoring service. Standard support is by email during New Zealand business hours.
What happens if a sensor stops communicating?
Contact OnSight so we can help check the setup. Direct recovery of stored data from a sensor is a last resort and is not guaranteed.
